Viet-Kitchen in Phoenix is a small restaurant in a shopping strip. I had been wanting to check it out since my favorite Thai place closed up shop. Last time I had company in town (company that loves Asian food), we made it a point to stop in.
There was basically one dish on the menu that they could confirm was gluten friendly so not exactly a wide variety of selections, but this one dish makes up for the lack of selection. It’s amazing. And everyone else raved about their dishes so non-celiacs will enjoy it as well.
The Prime Pho rare beef rice noodle soup arrives with a steaming broth, beef and rice noodles. The side dish contains fresh basil, cilantro, jalepeno slices, bean sprouts and lime, which you add yourself. Give it a few minutes to cool down and let the flavors mingle. Then enjoy the aroma and phenomenal flavor! This soup will fix what ails you. It’s also very filling. I crave it on a regular basis now.
The restaurant is small and cozy. The owners/staff are friendly and provide good service. This is one of those great, hole in the wall finds that goes on the favorites list. View Viet-Kitchen’s menu here.
